Brandon Patoc – Worldwide Photographer bio picture

About Brandon

I love photographing people and telling stories through compelling and heartfelt images. My work is influenced by my love for shooting film and inspired by travel, Seattle (my home) and the people around me.

I started documenting weddings in 2007 after shooting fine art and documentary travel work for about five years. I love what I do, love to meet new clients and would love to help tell your story through pictures.

Silk Road Journey Exhibition

Today was a great day. Although I’ve been feeling quite sick the last few days, I managed to put in a few hours of work, rest up and make it to my exhibition this evening (it would be pretty bad if I didn’t show up). The ladies in the office (at work) celebrated and hosted a small party and mini-previewing of my show. I had no idea that they were planning anything, but should have suspected it since we try to celebrate and find any possible reason to have an office party. Bev and Terri were practicing their gallery etiquette and had a fun time viewing a few of the images that Bev had printed off of my blog. I must credit the handy iPhone for the great pics.

Anyway, the real exhibition went great. Thanks to everyone that made it out and to those who purchased prints. Also, thanks Mark and Nicole for your help setting up. The show will be up through mid-June, so if you couldn’t make it to the opening stop by Glazer’s rental store anytime during normal business hours (M-S 8:30 – 5:30 pm & 12:00 – 5:00 on Sundays) and check out the work. Sorry, the good food was only available at the opening. Free admission!

Bev - Congratulations Brandon! It was great fun planning your 1st preview. Having our own little gallery-for-a-day was exciting. We are so delighted we were able to pull off the surprise, and especially delighted that you were able to join us. You should know that Dwight managed to stay at the gallery until closing and smile polietly with pleasent gallery etiquitte all day. Thanks agian, for giving us another original cause for celebration. Remember, we're available for all your celebration needs! Congratulations!May 9, 2008 - 11:14 am
