I love photographing people and telling stories through compelling and heartfelt images. My work is influenced by my love for shooting film and inspired by travel, Seattle (my home) and the people around me.

I started documenting weddings in 2007 after shooting fine art and documentary travel work for about five years. I love what I do, love to meet new clients and would love to help tell your story through pictures.

Jill and Chris have been a lot of fun to work with and get to know. They booked me last year to shoot their July 2010 wedding and this last week we met up to take some engagement pictures. I always make a point to get to know my clients and build a friendship with them as it allows me to take the best photographs possible. I’ve found that as I approach working with a couple as a ‘friend’ instead of a stranger with a camera, everyone opens up and pictures are always more relaxed and natural.
