Earlier this month I had the opportunity to meet up with Tara and Jesse, who are clearly in love and are a lot of fun to photograph. When Jesse first contacted me in March we began discussing their engagement session and we made plans to shoot several weeks ago. Seattle weather, however,  had other plans for us. Thankfully, both Jesse and Tara have been both patient and flexible and we were able to squeeze in a few hours of shooting last week. Tara brought a few props and some great ideas to the shoot… here are a few of the images.

Merecedes and Daniel’s wedding was held just outside of Leavenworth on one of the hottest days of the summer. They were a fun and energetic couple to shoot and I was happy to be there for them on their special day. We learned as we arrived at the salon to take “getting ready” pictures that Mercedes’ mom took some college classes with my assistant, Nicole, so we had a great connection and had a blast at their wedding. A good friend, Alejandra, and her husband to be, Devin, celebrated their engagement at my relatives home in Enumclaw. It was a beautiful day to be outside (although it was a little too hot for me) and it was nice to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends. Devin and Alejandra are a beautiful couple and are great people. I’m looking forward to their wedding later this summer. 

Alejandra is taking her final nursing exam this Thursday, so if you think about it wish her luck and say a prayer for her. Here they are opening their gifts…
